As a newly formed organization, Wildcraft can boast a surprising amount of achievement that revels even those of older clubs. Since its inception in late August of this year, it has built connections with local businesses such as Freddy's Frozen Custard and Orange Leaf, increased its membership from a few to 40-50, become a part of Heartland eSports Association, partnered with the CIS department and other clubs on campus, and work is in progress to develop tournaments for charity and competition.
As Wildcraft continues to develop, the local community and eSports organizations throughout the Midwest should expect to see more of it. With new tournaments being planned, competition in the Collegiate Star League, and more fundraisers on the way, Wildcraft is only beginning to make an impact on the eSports scene.
